Ebay Artworks

From time to time I browse ebay.co.uk looking for new and exciting art. Sometimes I even get round to exhibiting some myself there but that's another topic. For the most part art on ebay is created by amateurs, which means prices are low, and you can have fun searching for the next up and coming Alexander Millar or Jack Vetriano.
The artist I've got my eye on at the moment never gives their name, but the paintings are sold as Devine Art. Simple landscape line and watercolour paintings, I think they're just brilliant. See the art here:

Mountain art - Paintings of the Munros

Found this site from Gerry McGirr when I was looking around some Scottish Art websites today:

The site is pretty straightforward, and the artwork is fantastic. I am a bit mad about the hills myself and love to see a good mountain painting, especially where it is painted from high up rather than down in the glen. Great stuff.

Scottish Mountain Art

Thought I'd mention this website by Scottish mountain artist Neil Barlow. Really good mountain paintings with limited edition mountain prints at extremely cheap prices.

Art Exhibition in Dunkeld

35th DUNKELD CATHEDRAL ART EXHIBITION
Contemporary pictures, sculptures and ceramics by over 300 Scottish artists. Over 400 exhibits on show. All exhibits are for sale and may be removed when purchased. 16/06/2005 to 25/08/2005. Open 7 days 10.00hrs to 19.00hrs Sunday opening times 14.00-19.00hrs.

Haven't been to this art exhibition yet this year but it is usually excellent with some real bargains to be had. The standard of the art is fantastic. It's in the building called the Duchess Ann on the square in Dunkeld, Perthshire. It's got a 10ft high banner on it, can't miss it.
