Painting holiday in Scotland

Really looking forward to getting away soon on a painting holiday. Well, actually it's a camping holiday with my family. But I will take some paints. Looking forward to sitting outside after the baby has gone to bed, drinking wine and painting.
Sounds like the only thing I have to think about is whether to take watercolour or acrylic with me. Suspect it'll be watercolour.
However, I know from experience that this ideal picture will not be the case. The thing I'll probably end up painting most is this critter:

- The highland midge. Lucky my wife sells midge head nets
So maybe I might get some peace from them. These biting bugs can be so bad they can destroy a holiday. So why am I going camping in Scotland in summer? who knows, maybe it'll be breezy and everything will be ok. If I do manage to paint anything on the holiday (still a couple of weeks away) I'll post it here.

Beach - seascape painting

Another one of the old paintings I found was one of the first I did in a series of beach paintings - this one was one of the first, from which I went on to do a whole load on canvas, but this one is acrylic on Cryla acrylic paper.

14 inches by 10 inches - acrylic on paper - unframed GBP24 . Postage GBP2 (GBP3 international).
Send me the URL from the comments page if you're contacting me about it so I know which painting you're interested in. Thanks.

My Pet Sheep

Although recently I'm only getting back to painting (my bill-paying job keeps me pretty swamped), I have just found a couple of old paintings lying in a drawer. My idea is to use this blog to show anything that I've got lying around for sale. If you happen to like any of it, drop me a line (adam@scotland24.co.uk) and we'll sort out payment, I accept Paypal, UK cheques, cash, etc. I'm not going to go into the t&c too much as this is just a place to show some pix.

The first one I found is from a collection I was painting last year, and the year before. They are all entitled "My Pet Sheep" and there must be around 200 of them in various parts of the world. This is the last one that I seem to have at the moment, but I suspect there will be many more painted in the future.

10 inches by 7 inches - acrylic on paper - unframed GBP20 (I know, it's advertised elsewhere at GBP30 but I'd rather someone has it on a wall somehere than wait around with it languishing in a drawer). Postage GBP2 (GBP3 international).

Send me the URL from the comments page if you're contacting me about it so I know which painting you're interested in. Thanks.
