Jack Vettriano - Singing Butler

I first saw Jack Vettriano's paintings in Kirkcaldy in 1996 which can't be long after his prints started to be published. I bought one of the prints from a Kirkcaldy picture framer - thought it was brilliant, and the framer filled me in on his background. Now that print has become probably the most popular in the UK and is hanging on everyone's wall. It seems that with popularity comes the media, and there is no-one the media likes to have a pop at more than Jack Vettriano. The Daily Record has run a story about him copying his most famous painting and in this BBC news piece he brushes it aside. Rightly so.
